Features

We love spending time on the beautiful Norfolk coast away from the rat race of everyday life and we believe that this time should be spent comfortably.  Each room contains character pieces of furniture and the walls, including the hall and landing, are decorated with interesting local photographs and paintings.  The heating and hot water work extremely efficiently due to a new boiler so you will not have to wait long to freshen up after a day on the beach or a wintery walk.

THE GROUND FLOOR

Kitchen at Manningham House

Kitchen/Diner:

This is a large bright room with an island where there is plenty of space for preparing delicious meals. All the work surfaces are black granite so there there is no need to worry about hot dishes.  We have equipped the kitchen extremely well with an Aga, hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble-dryer.    In fact, we have kitted it out like our own home as we know there is nothing worse than finding a vital piece of cooking equipment has not been provided.

Dining Area with doors looking out on the garden

Dining Area:

There is a large table and a TV and Ipod docking system to keep you entertained while you cook.   We have had some great family meals in this room!  French windows lead directly onto the garden which is ideal for BBQs on summer evenings.

Sitting Room 1

Sitting Room 1: This cosy room has a lovely open fire, comfortable sofas and, on the entertainment front, a TV with DVD and Sky.  An absolute necessity for those rainy days, there is a games cupboard full of family games and puzzles.  Game of Life continues to be a firm favourite!
Sitting Room 2 Sitting Room 2 : This is a perfect escape for those wanting to get away from the television, either to read quietly or to listen to music.  It has an open fire, sofas and iPod docking system, as well as plenty of magazines to read.

There is plenty of garden furniture including a large table, a bench, chairs and a large BBQ.  The back garden is set partly to lawn and partly to gravel.
